A North Dakota lady wrote to Sovereign Elizabeth II for the beyond 70 years while having a similar birthday as Her Highness.
Adele Hankey, from Park Stream, North Dakota, said she'll "miss" her friend through correspondence after the sovereign kicked the bucket at 96 years old last week.
The letter trade was "vital" to Adele, her niece Phyllis Hankey told Fox News Advanced.
In 1953, Hankey originally kept in touch with the sovereign when she was delegated.
"They've sort of… been friends through correspondence since my auntie sent her a praise letter when she was made the sovereign," Phyllis commented.
