PnB Rock, the Philadelphia rapper most popular for his 2016 hit "Childish," was lethally shot during a burglary at the Roscoe's Place of Chicken and Waffles eatery in South Los Angeles on Monday evening, police told The Times.

 Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz said a shooting occurred at 1:15 p.m. at the popular restaurant on Central avenue and Manchester Road.

 "He shot the person in question and ran out the side way to a potentially fast vehicle and afterward escaped the parking area," she said.
